These sculptures by Simone Pheulpin were crafted from cotton strips, each individually pleated and secured with pins. The variety of folding techniques created different textures across the surface. Both pieces are inspired by the Vosges forests. Inès evokes wood slowly overtaken by moss, its edges fractured by time. Lune de Bois II recalls the growth of tree trunks through a tactile form that suggests organic expansion.
