Sonnensturm, Wolkenblau

These centrepieces by Silke Lazarević were crafted from calfskin and pigskin parchment respectively, wet-dyed and shaped. As it dried, the material evolved freely and revealed its unique structural and textural qualities. At times recalling glass or textile depending on the light, the pieces display subtle variations of colours as a result of their layered structure.
