This sculpture by Heechan Kim was assembled from layered wooden strips, fastened with copper wire. The self-supporting hollow form results from tension and compression rather than an internal armature. Exploring body and landscape, the artwork links interior and exterior as a continuous system shaped by growth, constraint and interdependence.
