This coffee table by Weon Rhee was hand carved and shaped from parallel strand lumber. The surface was pigmented in blue and silver tones, emphasizing the strata within the material. Recalling two tilted lotus leaves or stacked mushrooms, the piece suggests a natural form shaped by erosion and crystallisation.
