This piece is designed as a tribute to a Chinese Ming dynasty ewer. It is an ovoid ceramic ewer shaped by wheel throwing, with a sculpted spout and handle. It is decorated with oxide-drawn peonies. The brown tone, textured surface and enamel ‘tape’ details imitate cardboard.
