Giant mug

This tall, narrow mug has a distinctive large, round handle. The white stoneware is unglazed on the lower third, while the top and handle have a glossy, variegated finish in pastel pink. This is achieved through the technique called trempage, which is about dipping the clay in a cherry blossom pink glaze bath.
