Matter to Reflect

These twin vases were created during Homo Faber Fellowship 2025/26 by glassblower Eve George based in France, and British fellow Alexandra Holmes. Each piece combines a hand blown glass cylinder with two identical spheres, free-blown with filigrana threads, one inside and the other outside. Playing on the concept of optical illusion, the spheres blur the lines between reflection and duplication, evoking fluid, wave-like motion and shared making.
