Fountain of Happiness Balls

This sculpture by Rike Riegels-Winsauer was composed of three-dimensional forms crocheted from bronze wire. It was partially gilded and combined with metal beads and glass. Bringing together goldsmithing techniques, traditional textile craftsmanship and glasswork, the piece achieves a sense of airiness and shimmering transparency.
