Fruit Bat and sapphire freestanding sculpture
This mounted sculpture features the skeleton of a male fruit bat sourced ethically from a wildlife sanctuary in Indonesia. It is housed in a rotating glass capsule that turns 360° on aeroplane bearings. The skeleton hangs from an antique drawer pull above an inlaid padparadscha sapphire.
