Off Centre collection 2

This collection of hand built stoneware vases with flattened, off-centre sculptural forms and narrow necks, was high-fired with a long end soak. The vessels' raw, grainy textured surfaces in natural sandy, reddish and blackish tones were created using burnishing and scratching techniques The unglazed exteriors are contrasted by the glazed interiors.
