This earthenware three-legged stool is hand coiled. It comprises a low, rounded terracotta-coloured base streaked with black glaze. An interlinked arc and circle, topped with three prongs, forms the backrest. Reminiscent of the sky, a combined glaze of white and blue finishes the top of the base and the backrest. Symbolic glyphs are stamped into the stool’s surface.
