Moon Jar

This vessel was hand built by coiling. Its full, round body with a narrow opening and foot ring is inspired by Korean and Chinese ceramics. Silicon carbide creates a bubbly texture in the blue glaze, which drips over the top half, leaving the bottom unglazed.
