Boxes of Time, Yūdachi
These cast-glass boxes are made to hold treasured items. In Japan, summer evening rain is called yūdachi, and this series is inspired by that theme. The boxes are small enough to fit in the palm of the hand, and their surfaces are engraved with patterns of rain and clouds.
