The Alchemist's Chairs
These ten chairs were designed to accompany the Alchemist’s Table, produced in 2024 by Matthew John Coutts. Made from locally sourced Norwegian ash, the frames are steam-bent, hand shaped, bleached, oiled, and gilded, cradling cushioned spherical seats upholstered in wool.
