This porcelain bowl, part of the Cereal Vessel series, has an asymmetrical wave-like shape that extends from the base to the rim. It carries the memory of buckwheat, a cereal that is emblematic of Eastern European culinary traditions. The buckwheat grains were arranged one by one on the outer surface according to a pre-designed pattern, then covered with several layers of paper porcelain slip. The inside of the bowl is covered with a transparent blue glaze, while the smooth outer surface remains raw. It was fired in Ana-Bélen's electric kiln at 1250°C.
