This blown-glass sculpture from Bell’s Fluid Topographies series bears bubbling contours formed with custom metal tools. The deep amber and copper surface is sand carved to a matte finish, contrasting the internal silver nitrate mirroring. This technique creates an illusion where the vessel appears to glow from within.
