This tactile tea bowl is hand-built and textured by gently pounding the surface with a wooden slat. The soft vermilion hue, discovered by Katsumi Kako in the early 2000s, adds quiet warmth. Fired in a wood kiln, the piece embodies the beauty of serendipity.
