Skin-on-frame open style canoe
This is a 5-metre skin-on-frame open canoe that is 90 cm wide at the centre, tapering at each end to a point. The frame is a latticework of timbers, steam-bent to shape, and held together using lashings. A nylon skin is stretched over this to produce a finished boat.
