Sign of the Wind hamji

Using his high-temperature lacquer technique, Sukkeun Kang created innovative wooden tableware that is durable like ceramics. Based on the traditional hamji bowl, he reshapes it through experimental drying methods. Through form, texture and colour, he expresses human sensibility. Sign of the Wind reflects an awareness of the emotions carried by the wind.
