Wood chip textured plate
This plate is made from sterling silver. The shape is formed using the sunk technique of hammering it into shape. It features a chased abstract wood chip motif, celebrating the meditative craft of wood carving. The object is chased and planished to mimic textures found in Pictish hoards.
