Sabina Lima was inspired by the sculptures at Hampton Court Palace and St Martin-in-the-Fields to create this goldwork unicorn. With fluid movement and a flowing mane, it captures the freedom and passion evoked by The Black Stallion (1979). It is embroidered against a sky-blue silk dupion backdrop using gilt wires and threads.
