Basket made from felting and knitting
These two round baskets in ochre, dark brown and beige were made with the felting technique and knitting. The felt is made the traditional way, from wet wool in hot soapy water, but the final fabric is specific in that the fibres are fused together through knitting, which gives relief and texture to the surface.
