Faux marble lamp

This is a porcelain table lamp. The body of the lamp is decorated with natural foliage and creatures, reminiscent of the precious artefacts from the Fiorentine pietre dure workshop. A parrot perched on a tangle of branches with flowers and fruit dominates the decoration. The predominant colours are the blue of the background and the gold of the borders.
