Transfer to the Sepulchre

This sculptural group depicts the scene in which Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus and Saint John transport and move the body of Christ from the cross to the tomb. The image of Christ is a full-size carving, and the remaining figures are also full-size wood carvings, prepared for dressing.
