Scream is a reflection of Arzu Arslan’s pain and a reaction to the refugee crises in her native country. The object’s main idea reflects those who left their countries and journeyed into the unknown. It also carries the grief of war and the tragic earthquake that hit Turkey in February 2023. The artist dedicated this work to the victims of this natural disaster.
