This is a group of eight brooches and three cylindrical vessels in 925 sterling silver presented on a natural slab of myrtle timber. "After being invited to participate in the exhibition by OUTSIDE THE BOX / Earth Arts Rights to assist in the restoration of Lake Pedder, I travelled to the area to gather information about the specific plants and environment. I interpret small specimens and imagery into silver using a variety of methods: drilling, saw-piercing, lost wax casting and sometimes found natural materials," explains Marian Hosking.
