Good Friday

This tray was forged from a thick iron plate and the sardines from individual pieces of iron with a circular cross section. The title refers to the Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus. During Lent, no meat should be eaten on Fridays, but fish is allowed instead.
