KuruKuru
KuruKuru is a porcelain sculptural form, entirely constructed and shaped by hand. In the centre is a glass cabochon that has been attached after firing, with a pink porcelain disk beneath it. From the centre of the piece, an overflow of long drops swirls like water down in a sink. A pink engobe was applied to the tips and the entire form was glazed white and fired at 1260°C.
