This is a sculptural double stool made from solid bronze and polished in a golden patina. It features the organic shape and texture of giant rhubarb leaves. The legs are inspired by the stalks of this perennial plant. The veins and textures are reversed. With this work, Clotilde Ancarini wished to illustrate how we are often very close to each other but sitting back to back, and how much effort it takes to unite and embrace.
