Opus 10-10

This hand woven silk fabric was created for a private collection. Franz recreated the 16th century Drap d'argent moiré design, associating it with a later 17th century design of polychrome ciselé velvet on gold. Each textile Franz creates draws from the rich tradition of silk weaving to create contemporary designs tailored to the character of its future owner.
