Script with Veins
This sculpture features Japanese mulberry paper painted with watercolour and bound using archival cotton tape, often used in book conservation. It recalls Alida Kuzemczak-Sayer's visit to Sicily and the Italian tradition of decorative paint effects that emulate polished stone.
