Oval shaped ceramic plate made using a flat 6mm slab of clay, surface marked and formed by pressing into a hand made mould. Before biscuit firing a copper oxide is painted into the marks then glazed with a matt white glaze. The finished piece is a mottled green and white with a smokey appearance around the edges
