Abstract Tanhwa jars
This jar features a pattern that resembles the Milky Way. It is made from birch trees grown in the barren alpine regions of Korea. The artist's signature style, "Abstract Tanhwa," involves burning the wood's surface to create a unique texture and colour. The work's square hole shows the natural beauty of the wood and functions to prevent further cracks.
