This felt shawl piece begins with a shibori – the encapsulation and tying of floral pieces with fleece and silk that are worked one by one. Later layers of fleece are layered and textured with natural fabrics, and the shibori is added, taking care of the aesthetics of the piece. Once finished the piece is dyed with natural indigo.
