This mosaic was created following the 2018 Homo Faber exhibition held on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. With his back towards the viewer, a gondolier stands poised, looking into the Venetian sunset. The pietra dura mosaic is intended to be hung up as a picture and is signed on the bottom left.
