Saturdays dedicated to pottery

On Saturdays, from 10:00 to 16:00, ceramicist Elaine Fallon organises a full day of throwing on an electric pottery wheel with unlimited clay. Elaine will first give you a brief overview and explanation of pottery and how it is produced. She will then give a general demonstration of pottery working. From this point on, students are encouraged to practise under the tutor’s guidance for the rest of the day. After the class, students will be invited to clean their work stations and tools and then pick out two of the pots they made, which Elaine will glaze and fire for them.
