Create your own piece of pottery

Caterina Amato holds courses on Saturdays in her studio situated near the Naviglio Martesana. Participants are introduced to three shaping techniques (snail, plate and pinch) and three different decorations (underglaze, glaze, and high fire glaze), with three different clays (Italian white earthenware, semi-refractory clay and stoneware). Courses in the morning are accompanied by tea and biscuits, in the afternoon they are followed by an aperitivo. Prices include materials and firing. Participants are not required to attend all four days. A 2-hour participation option is available at a cost of 48 EUR per day.

Master your pottery skills
