Two hours of Venetian glass lampworking

Xiaozhe Huang offers an intimate introduction to the art of glass lampworking in her atelier in Venice, a short walk from Piazza San Marco. This hands-on session offers the opportunity to experience the transformation of molten glass through flame in a contemporary jewellery practice. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those wishing to develop their skills. Each session is limited to the maximum of two participants, allowing for personalised guidance by Xiaozhe throughout the experience. As participants familiarise themselves with how glass softens, moves and responds to heat, they wil be able to create their own rings, pendants, earrings or other unique pieces to take home.
