Experience glassblowing

BLÆS studios engages in the local communities and invites the public in to learn about its work through events and workshops. In this introduction to glass, Jette Bøge and Sally Xenia give a short talk about the basic techniques and tools used. Depending on the number of participants, they will then have the opportunity to be guided through the process of making a small piece of glass that can be either a vessel or a bauble. The glass can be picked up by the participant, the following day or sent by post if necessary.

Techniques of glassblowing

BLÆS studios engages in the local communities and invites the public in to learn about its work through events and workshops. In this course, which is delivered as a two hour class over four weeks, Jette Bøge and Sally Xenia will give an introduction to the basic techniques in glassblowing. Each week, participants will build upon their development and will bring home what they made the previous week. The participants can expect to be able to make smaller pieces, such as baubles and vessels.
