Haute Couture embroidery technique

In this workshop, embroiderers learn the Haute Couture embroidery technique of applying basic stitches onto silk organza with the Lunéville needle. At first, only thread is used to practice the various stitches, before learning the technique of applying beads and sequins to the fabric. The embroiderer learns to make a decorative application that can be attached to any garment. After mastering this technique and with a little more experience, any garment can be edited with a glamorous touch.

Advanced embroidery techniques including border design

In this workshop, more advanced embroidery techniques are learned with the Lunéville needle on silk organza by creating a border design and applying beads and sequins to the fabric. This design is suitable for use on a blouse, dress or top, for example. But it can also be applied on a bag or other accessory. The focus will be on a small part of the border motif, the length of which can be shorter or longer depending on the garment to be embroidered.
