Lignereux is an art collective creating unique and extraordinary art objects. Named after 18th-century designer Martin-Éloy Lignereux, the brand has a long and storied history, having served distinguished art collectors and European royal families with extraordinary objects and furniture from its boutiques in Paris and London since 1781. Acquired by creative director Gonzague Mézin in 2013, today the brand operates in the space where classical art and contemporary creation intersect. At the heart of the collective’s creative process are ancestral forms and materials which the team seek to synthesise, project, manipulate and develop in new directions.

Lignereux’s new creations draw on 18th-century shapes and gestures, reimagining the ‘objet rare’ as a conceptual, narrative art form that interrogates the world. Pieces have been exhibited at Les Arts Déco-MAD Paris, Palazzo Grimani in Venice and the Château de Versailles, while collaborations with Van Cleef & Arpels and Parfums Henry Jacques have added new resonance. For Homo Faber 2026, Lignereux presents Land of the Dragons, a trio of ormolu-mounted porcelain sculptures. In this piece, six golden dragons watch over three blue and white porcelain monuments inspired by icebergs. It evokes the fragility of the contemporary world while celebrating the timeless values of perseverance, solidarity and empathy.
