The creation of a Bonacina 1889 product is a complex, slow and unique process. The journey begins with an in-depth knowledge of natural raw materials, sourced in South-East Asia, which combine strength, vitality and elasticity. Since the reed is exploited from the bark to the core, reducing waste to a minimum, the manufacturing process has a very low environmental impact. For 137 years, each piece has been handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans who, in a constant physical challenge, shape the materials to create iconic products that are treasured in the most sophisticated households and venues across the continents.
