Participants are introduced to the history of smocking, which dates back to England in the Middle Ages. Ingrid Larssen explains how she discovered smocking and how she uses it in combination with other materials such as sea urchins and pearls to make jewellery and objects. She also talks about her inspiration, which comes from nature and traditional craft techniques.
