1 hour 5 -15 people20 CHF per personIs there such a thing as a Leventina identity? That is the question that the guided tour of the Museo di Leventina tries to answer. The Leventina Valley has been one of the main roads to cross the Alps for centuries, as it connects Northern and Southern Europe. The visit to this ethnographic museum, with its rich collections of documents, photographs, objects and artworks, allows visitors to investigate the history, the identity and the culture of this enchanted valley, which is also crossed by an ancient pilgrimage route, the Via Francigena. The building that houses the Museum, Casa Stanga, is worth a visit, with its beautiful frescoes dating back to the late 16th century. Guided tours are every Sunday at 2pm in Italian and at 3pm in German. Other booking options are available for school groups and weekday visits. Book in advance.
