An introduction to glass blowing

1 hour Max 2 people50 euros per person

In this course you have the opportunity to blow yourself a small solid glass object, such as a paperweight or small glass figures. You will acquire knowledge on how to gather molten glass from the furnace at a temperature of 1150°C and manipulate it with a range of traditional glassmaking tools and techniques. You also get the chance to pick colours and create patterns on clear glass. The glass objects created during the course will be cooled down in an annealing kiln and are ready to be picked up the next day. All equipment and materials for the course are provided by the studio. This course can be booked in advance or may be organised during visits and drop-ins.
