Following the unprecedented success of the major exhibition, held in December 2016 in the beautiful setting of the former “ Arbed Palace”, 19 avenue de la Liberté, HRH Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg, the Chambre des Métiers, the Spuerkeess (BCEE) and M. Roland Kuhn created in May 2017 the non-profit association
De Mains De Maîtres Luxembourg.
“De Mains de Maîtres” aims to offer the widest representation of what constitutes crafts today, a universe at the crossroads of contemporary art and craftsmanship, which draws its vitality and modernity from the transmission of the gesture and the perpetual search for innovation.
“ Viv(r)e la matière ”, this is the rallying call of this new edition. From ceramics to glass, through textile sculpture, concrete and cardboard work, woodworking, haute couture, engraving... nearly 70 creators living and/or working in Luxembourg are offering us the opportunity to discover an ephemeral and original collection of rare and precious objects.
