Inspiration for textile craftsmanship

Max 25 people12 euros per person

The Rubelli historical archive is a stunning collection of over 6000 textile records and 2000 original designs on paper representing an endless source of inspiration for the designers of the Venetian brand of luxury fabrics. Visiting the collection, housed in Ca' Pisani Rubelli, means diving into an incredible variety of specimens coming from Europe but also from the East, Africa and the Americas. The first records date back to the end of the 15th century but the core of the collection are original examples of historic Rubelli productions, including the velvet made for the Italian royal family in the early 20th century and the fabrics created with famous artists and designers such as Giò Ponti or the Venetian fashion designer Roberta di Camerino.
