Inspired by the beauty of the peacock's dazzling plumage, the Pavone armchair designed by Marc Ange begins with an internal seat structure constructed from poplar plywood, which is then padded with polyurethane foam shaped to different densities. Seven elements in chromed steel form the chair base. The manual technique of "in sabbia" is used to craft the armrests and "petals" protruding from the back of the chair by welding them onto the body to give the chair a three-dimensional effect. The "petals" are individually hand-polished, and the fabric is applied. Seat cushioning upholstery completes the chair.
