Concrétion

On her walks, Thérèse collects seeds, twigs and berries and incorporates them into her porcelain work. This piece combines the fruits of Abelmoschus with porcelain paper. Thérèse dips these fruits into a liquid mixture of porcelain paper, combines them, and fires at 1280 °C. During the firing, the plants burn, leaving their trace in porcelain, evocative of natural formations such as fossils or corals.
